I have lived in Kirkfield, Ontario since the early 1970s where my husband and I raised our family on our farm. I have always enjoyed being involved with the local community, including 15 years as a public school board trustee with the Victoria County Board of Education/Trillium Lakelands District School Board. I was on the executive committee of the Ontario Public School Board Association, and I have worked in both banking and communications. Buying or selling a property is often the largest investment a person makes. I believe buyers and sellers should work with a real estate representative who is looking out for your best interests throughout the whole process.

Many people, when planning to purchase a property, search around the internet or drive past properties for sale and call the listing agent to view the property. How do I help you better? I approach working in real estate from the view of a consultant rather than simply a sales person. I believe in lifelong learning. I am always looking for information and courses that will provide me with information that will benefit my clients. All real estate representatives in Ontario are required to take a set number of education credits every 2 years in order to renew their licence. I take many courses that go beyond the requirements. I have attained the following designations that are worth mentioning:

Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®)
Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®)
Accredited Senior Agent (ASATM)
Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE®)

Why work with an Accredited Buyer’s Representative? Buying a home may be the largest and most complex financial transaction you ever undertake. The ABR® designation is only awarded to licenced real estate professionals who complete specialized training to understand the buyer’s perspective and protect and promote their buyer client’s interests.
